Ryan’s practice focuses on estate planning, probate, real estate, and taxation. He also represents numerous businesses and non-profit organizations. Ryan is active in the local community and currently serves as a board member for the Albany Boys and Girls Club Foundation and for the Albany Partnership for Housing & Community Development. Ryan also serves on the school board for Santiam Christian School and does pro bono legal work for numerous other local non-profit organizations.
An Iowa native, Ryan attended Dordt College in Sioux Center, Iowa, where he studied history and philosophy while also playing on the school’s football and tennis teams. After graduating from Dordt in 2009, Ryan married his wife, Geron, who was born and raised in Lebanon, Oregon. Ryan received his law degree from Regent University School of Law in December of 2011. Ryan joined Weatherford Thompson as an associate attorney in the spring of 2012, and he became a partner in 2017.
In his spare time, Ryan enjoys spending time with his wife and children, hiking, playing tennis and disc golf, watching sports, and baking.
